The problem when using Metamask with Brave is that sometime Brave's injected Web3 provider gets in the way of Metamask's injected Web3 provider, making all transactions to Ethereum not show up as a Metamask transaction.

If you're trying to make a transaction on Brave using Metamask and a Metamask window doesn't show up, most likely you're running into this issue. Brave's crypto wallet uses the same injected Web3 pattern, since it uses the same open-source codebase as Metamask under the hood.

The Brave team is aware of this issue and is working on a fix that should be releasing soon.
